About Me

Arfan Shahzad is Senior Lecturer of Management Information and Business. He has successfully supervised three PhD, tw0 DBA students, and more than six master’s students. Arfan is currently supervising eight PhD/DBA candidates in information system and business management. Arfan is an active researcher; he has published more than 37 articles in international peer-reviewed and indexed journals of Scopus and ISI. He has served as an editorial board member of some international journals. He has also conducted training on data analysis using Smartpls 3.0 and SPSS in Malaysia, Thailand, and Pakistan for postgraduate students. Before joining the academia, Arfan was Chief Technology Officer in R & D SerindIT.com, Malaysia. There, he handled projects on ICT infrastructure from 2006-2013 with of value of 3.5 million ringgit/year. He continued to work with the company as a consultant on ICT infrastructure from 2013 until 2014. He has also worked on other projects funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Department of National Unity and Integration, and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. In Pakistan, he worked in Mumtaz Bakhtawar hospital as network and database administrator.
